Maclab Enterprises became the largest, privately held, residential property holder in Alberta and the Northwest Territories in the 1960’s and has strived to be worthy of that position ever since.

The Land Development Division is an innovative and entrepreneurial group responsible for the sourcing, acquisition, design, development and marketing of Maclab’s development projects; in addition to commercial projects in Alberta and BC, the division has several residential subdivisions underway at this time.

We believe that one secret to long term capital appreciation and steadily increasing cash flows lies in asset management expertise. That function is expertly carried out for Maclab by Midwest Property Management, a wholly owned division of the company.

Maclab’s hospitality properties are professionally managed by Coast Hotels and Resorts. Our current portfolio includes properties in Edmonton, Jasper National Park, and Yellowknife, NWT.

Maclab recognizes that the need for housing in western Canada is growing; we are committed to meeting this need through the pursuit of innovative housing and hospitality solutions. In addition to our traditional multi-family rental housing, Maclab has recently branched out into the development of high quality, hybrid lease/own manufactured housing communities.
